Protocol - Ovulation History
These self-administered questions ask about menstruation and pregnancy history. Female respondents are asked about age at first menstruation, onset and cause of menopause, and pregnancy history and outcomes.
These questions should only be asked of women.

Ovulation history is associated with some female cancers. The Working Group selected this protocol because it includes major reproductive landmarks relevant to female reproductive cancers. A substantial amount of information is gathered in a short protocol.

Measure to assess ovulation history, including pregnancy and breast-feeding history
The purpose of this measure is to assess a woman's ovulation history, including pregnancy and breast-feeding history. It is important to measure because of the association between ovulation history and some female cancers.
