These ten questions from the Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring System (PRAMS) and the Population Assessment of Tobacco and Health (PATH) Study Wave 7 assess problems during pregnancy and after childbirth.

Selection Rationale

Although it is difficult to collect tobacco effects on pregnancy because pregnancy outcomes are related to so many factors, these are reliable measures for pregnancy-related events. PRAMS and the PATH Study have been used extensively for decades are updated regularly.
