Description

The Short Form-McGill Pain Questionnaire-2© (SF-MPQ-2©) is a 22-item self-administered questionnaire that asks about the different qualities of pain and related symptoms. Respondents are asked to rate the intensity of each type of pain they felt during the past week on a scale from 0 to 10.

Specific Instructions
This series of questions should be asked of people who are currently experiencing abdominal pain.

The Short Form-McGill Pain Questionnaire-2© (SF-MPQ-2©) provides the respondent with a list of words that describe some of the different qualities of pain and related symptoms. Respondents are asked to put an X through the numbers (from 0 to 10) that best describe the intensity of each of the pain and related symptoms they felt during the past week.
